Hello! I’m Roseann. I'm a natural light documentary and portrait photographer in Northern California. Bearing witness to your love is an enormous privilege, and a responsibility I don't take lightly. I will either be smiling, laughing, or crying behind my camera.
Seven years ago my husband and I moved to Grass Valley, California and bought a 143 year old home. This is where we are raising our daughter, Ella. I love photographing people. Young people, old people, people in love. I specialize in shooting families, portraits, and weddings. I want to document your milestones and special occasions—the things that bring people together and need to be remembered.
About me.
When I’m not taking photos I’m mothering our girl, swimming in the Yuba, hiking in the mountains, or laughing at our kitties, Squirrel and Explorro. I feel most confident in the kitchen. I love to cook, and even more than that I love to eat and feed my family. Lucky for me, my husband is a gardener, and has turned our little half acre into an oasis.
Motherhood portraiture has my heart, if there’s anything more beautiful than motherhood I haven’t found it yet.
