I love this age. I love the person you are and I never get tired of spending time with you. You laugh randomly and often and it's contagious. You started waving and saying "hi" to everyone you see, spreading joy wherever you go. You happily flip through books or play dress up most of your waking hours. You love kitties and Christmas trees. You look for airplanes when you hear them, even when we're inside. You are our water baby—we cannot take you near a body of water without you wanting to get in. You blow bubbles in the ocean and the bath. You love the beach and can play in the sand for hours.

This was my favorite year yet, both personally and professionally. Getting to spend my days with our girl while doing the work I love makes me feel like I hit the jackpot. This is what I dreamed of when starting down this road six years ago. And it's better than I could have imagined. Cheers to making more beautiful memories in 2019—and hopefully getting more sleep!

Read MoreI finally caught up on client edits for the first time since August, and I didn’t want these gems to get lost in the ether. Marina hosted us for turkey-day and cooked up a feast. Turkey and stuffing and gravy and three types of pies, cranberry, mashed potatoes, cookies and homemade crackers and cheese—and crab! The crab was so good that we bought more the next day. These two ladies are the cutest together.

Sean’s daughter, Asta, made up the entire bridal party, and she delivered a welcome toast with such poise, there wasn’t a dry eye. It’s days like this, where people come together, lend their talents, and manifest their love, that restore my hope in humanity. I am beyond grateful—like stars aligning grateful—to have been a part of this day, and I hope these images do justice to the love that surrounds these two.
